Winner Moves on to Worlds in Japan

The champion of the U.S. tournament will earn the ultimate honor—a spot at the BEYBLADE X WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2025, taking place this fall in Japan, the birthplace of Beyblade. In a statement, Masahiko Yamazaki, TOMY’s Head of Global Beyblade Business, said:

“We are thrilled to hold the tournament in Los Angeles, the entertainment capital of the world, to determine the top blader. Just like in Japan, we’re eagerly looking forward to intense Bey battles in the U.S.”

Adding to the excitement, members of the official Beyblade development team from Japan will be present at Anime Expo to support the tournament and meet with fans.

Free Play Zone, Anime Highlights & Photo Ops!

The BEYBLADE X booth at Anime Expo (open July 3–6) isn’t just for tournament players. Fans of all ages can enjoy:

  • Free play zones – Bring your own Beyblades or borrow one to try!
  • Upcoming product previews – See what’s next in the world of BEYBLADE X.
  • Anime screen loops – Featuring scenes from the TV anime, returning this summer for Season 2 in North America.
  • Photo spots – Snap a pic with Beyblade-themed backdrops and share your fandom!

BEYBLADE’s Global Comeback

Since launching in 1999, BEYBLADE has become a multigenerational global phenomenon. With the 2023 debut of the BEYBLADE X series—its fourth generation—more than 30 million units have shipped worldwide as of April 2025. In 2024, Beyblade was the #1 property in the battling toys category in over 11 countries, including the U.S.

You can find BEYBLADE products at major retailers like Walmart, Target, Amazon, and GameStop, with more spinning excitement on the way as BEYBLADE X anime Season 2 hits streaming platforms this summer.
