TOKYOPOP Expands DISNEY MANGA Collection with First Spanish Language Edition

TOKYOPOP, the well-known manga publisher, is venturing into new territory by introducing a Spanish language edition to its DISNEY MANGA collection. The latest addition, STITCH! ¡AMIGOS POR SIEMPRE!, is the first of its kind and centers around the beloved character from Disney’s LILO & STITCH franchise. Set to be released digitally and in print on September 3rd.

Publication Date: 3rd September 2024

Following the success of the English edition, which is currently available at various retailers and local libraries, Disney and Manga fans now have the opportunity to enjoy the story en Español. As the demand for bilingual graphic novels continues to grow, TOKYOPOP is committed to catering to its diverse fanbase.

Additionally, plans are in motion to introduce more Spanish editions to the DISNEY MANGA lineup later this year. Stay tuned for further updates as TOKYOPOP embraces the global appeal of manga storytelling.

Kingdom Hearts III Interview: Bill Farmer & Quinton Flynn

A week ago we celebrated the release of the long-awaited video game, Kingdom Hearts III at Game Realms, a video game store located in Burbank, California. We had the chance to speak to voice actors, Bill Famer (Goofy) & Quinton Flynn (Axel) and ask them about their experiences playing their roles in the Kingdom Hearts series, this and more in our interview below! Enjoy!

Zootopia’s ‘The Big Donut’ in Real life?

That’s right! This past weekend, as you may have heard, Zootopia won ‘ANIMATED FEATURE FILM’ at the 2017 Oscars!

How did Disney celebrate? By making ‘The Big Donut’ come to life!

CR&A Custom, Inc, Disney & Randy’s Donuts all collaborated in making ‘The Big Donut’ a reality. The fantastic graphic was made and printed by CR&A Custom, Inc and was displayed at famous Randy’s Donuts in Inglewood, California near LAX.

During this ‘event’ Disney also celebrated of the one-year anniversary of Zootopia & had a FACEBOOK LIVE Q&A with Nate Torrance (Clawhauser) and  Oscar®-winning director Rich Moore at Randy’s!

For those who don’t know, “The Big Donut” was actually inspired by Randy’s Donuts. Over the past decades, Randy’s Donuts has been known as a famous landmark & film location. its known to have been featured (On location/cameo) in various famous scenes from several successful Hollywood movies/TV Shows such as:

Californication, Iron Man 2, Mars Attacks!, Earth Girls Are Easy & Zootopia

KINGDOM HEARTS World Tour!

Originally announced on April 28th 2016, the  KINGDOM HEARTS World Tour has been the best thing announced since KINGDOM HEARTS Unchained (North America) & Final Fantasy XV!

According to the announcement, The concert is split into two parts. Beginning in August 11th 2016, with KINGDOM HEARTS  -First Breath (Brass concert), which is an exclusive concert in Japan ONLY. The second part, KINGDOM HEARTS Orchestra -World Tour (Orchestra concert) will begin in Japan on, March 10, 2017.

Fans can purchase the presale tickets to KINGDOM HEARTS Orchestra -World Tour via Wildfaery or wait until all tickets go on sale starting May 14, 2016. Please note that only 150 VIP tickets available at each World Tour concert for $189 and will include a meet and greet with Yoko Shimomura.
