A week ago we celebrated the release of the long-awaited video game, Kingdom Hearts III at Game Realms, a video game store located in Burbank, California. We had the chance to speak to voice actors, Bill Famer (Goofy) & Quinton Flynn (Axel) and ask them about their experiences playing their roles in the Kingdom Hearts series, this and more in our interview below! Enjoy!
Note:
We apologize for the lighting in our video, due to extreme weather conditions and time restrictions, we were unable to set out lighting equipment, furthermore, the monitors in the background did not help with this situation. We hope that you were still able to enjoy our video!

How did Disney celebrate? By making ‘The Big Donut’ come to life!
CR&A Custom, Inc, Disney & Randy’s Donuts all collaborated in making ‘The Big Donut’ a reality. The fantastic graphic was made and printed by CR&A Custom, Inc and was displayed at famous Randy’s Donuts in Inglewood, California near LAX.
‘The Big Donut’ came to life!
During this ‘event’ Disney also celebrated of the one-year anniversary of Zootopia & had a FACEBOOK LIVE Q&A with Nate Torrance (Clawhauser) and Oscar®-winning director Rich Moore at Randy’s!
Although we did not personally cover the Q&A session, we did decide to go down there and cover this fantastic anniversary. Naturally, I cosplayed none other than…
JUDY HOPPS!
Huge Zootopia donut, LIVE Q&A; What else was there, you ask? How about:
The Big Donut’s Donut!
The donut reads “The Big Donut”
There were two different types: Glaced & Sprinkled
Here’s a close up: its like it popped out from the movie!
For those who don’t know, “The Big Donut” was actually inspired by Randy’s Donuts. Over the past decades, Randy’s Donuts has been known as a famous landmark & film location. its known to have been featured (On location/cameo) in various famous scenes from several successful Hollywood movies/TV Shows such as:
Californication, Iron Man 2, Mars Attacks!, Earth Girls Are Easy & Zootopia
The ‘The Big Donut’ banner is, unfortunately, no longer up for display. We unsure if they will ever put it back up, however If you didn’t get a chance to see it, take a look here:
Maybe when ZOOTOPIA 2 comes out, it’ll go back up again…
Check out our awesome video on this fantastic event!
Next time you’re in Cali or live nearby, hop on by Randy’s Donuts, you won’t be disappointed. …er squished by a huge donut.
Just 8 days after Zootopia’s theater release date, Gallery Nucleus held a Zootopia Art panel and autograph signing event!
Zootopia fans lined up early morning at Gallery Nucleus in Alhambra, CA to buy the Zoopia Artbook ($40.00) and attend the artist panel. Special guests artists included:
Matthias Lechner (Art Director Environments)
Cory Loftis (Art Director Character)
Fawn Veerasunthorn (Story Artist)
Normand Lemay (Story Artist)
Kira Lehtomaki (Animation Supervisor)
Benson Shum (Animator Trent)
Trent Correy (Animator)
All of the special guests artists were behind the scenes and part of the development work for the movie, ZOOTOPIA!
During the panel, the artists explained their role and responsibilities during the production of Zootopia, showing us a step by step “In the Making of-” process of their work. Unfortunately, media was not allowed to take photos or videos of during the panel.
After the very informative panel, we were able to get our newly purchased Zootopia Artbook autographed by the artists. The Artbook was sold at the venue for $40.00, alongside art prints sent by Disney for Gallery Nucleus, which be still be purchased here.
I can personally say that by attending this event and with the exclusive information/behind the scenes process demonstrated, it changed the way I watched the movie. From a fan’s point of view to an artistic point of view. For those who didn’t attend the event, we can only hope the DVD will feature a “The Art of Zootopia” segment.
